The RCA TK-60 studio camera was introduced in 1963. It features a 4.5-inch image orthicon tube and was designed as an advanced black-and-white camera during a time of transition towards color broadcasting. The TK-60 is known for its high stability and the use of Nuvistor tubes, which contributed to its superior image quality. It was the last major black-and-white studio camera produced by RCA, widely used in television studios throughout the 1960s and beyond
